We invited the host ! This beer has been brewed at Baxbier with Baxbier, where the magic happened for 2 years now. The idea was make a thiolized double IPA trying to push the boundaries of thiols as far as we can using all the available science ! Big line up with Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, Cascade, Saaz and Phantasm to give an amazing and powerful tropical fruit salad supported by a refreshing New-Zealand vibe!"

This ale is a noble blend of ancient brews, where Cuvee Sofie (aged almost 3 years on red wine barrels) meets Dorwinion (over 2.5 years on Tokaji barrels), united by the wild essence of sloeberries and mulberries."

"The new heavy hitter of the Colour Theory family: Lightness Illusion. This 8% DIPA rounds out the series with a deep, complex journey. By elevating the ABV and hop saturation, we’ve brought forth waves of joyous tropical fruits floating atop a dank, brooding, and wonderfully complex underbelly all thanks to Nectaron, Idaho 7 and Citra!

For this label, our Creative Director took inspiration from the famous Munker illusion, a phenomenon in which the perceived colour of an object shifts drastically depending on the surrounding stripes. Your brain rewrites the data based on the background. Looking at the label, you’d swear you’re seeing different colours, but each shape is the exact same shade of blue."

"This NZ Double NEIPA DDH combines two different yet complementary New Zealand terroirs. The Nelson Sauvin comes from Sunrise Valley Farm (plots 16, 22, 21, and 9), where the mild maritime climate lends a touch of freshness. The Manilita, meanwhile, grows at Nelson Lakes Farm (plot A1 in the Tutaki Valley) on sandy loam soil. The combination is rich in oils and features exotic notes (mango, passion fruit)."

Further exploring NZ Hops' series of experimental varieties alongside a late-harvest crop of Nelson from Bold River Hops & our hand-selected Citra Cryo. The texture is pillow-soft & creamy, with a preserve-like sweetness through the middle & floral hum to savour at the finish.
