We invited the host ! This beer has been brewed at Baxbier with Baxbier, where the magic happened for 2 years now. The idea was make a thiolized double IPA trying to push the boundaries of thiols as far as we can using all the available science ! Big line up with Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, Cascade, Saaz and Phantasm to give an amazing and powerful tropical fruit salad supported by a refreshing New-Zealand vibe!"

"The new heavy hitter of the Colour Theory family: Lightness Illusion. This 8% DIPA rounds out the series with a deep, complex journey. By elevating the ABV and hop saturation, we’ve brought forth waves of joyous tropical fruits floating atop a dank, brooding, and wonderfully complex underbelly all thanks to Nectaron, Idaho 7 and Citra!

For this label, our Creative Director took inspiration from the famous Munker illusion, a phenomenon in which the perceived colour of an object shifts drastically depending on the surrounding stripes. Your brain rewrites the data based on the background. Looking at the label, you’d swear you’re seeing different colours, but each shape is the exact same shade of blue."

Le Nelson Sauvin provient de la ferme Sunrise Valley (parcelles 16, 22, 21 & 9) sous un climat maritime doux qui apporte un brin de fraîcheur. Le Manilita, lui, pousse à la ferme Nelson Lakes (parcelle A1 de la vallée de Tutaki) sur un sol de limon sableux. Le combo est chargé en huiles et axé sur l'exotisme (mangue, passion). "
