"Brussels Beer City turns five, and celebrates with a small festival with some friends: BierCult. It has teamed up with five Brussels breweries and five people from Brussels’ beer community to brew five different collaboration beers. Nanobrasserie L’Ermitage x Colleen Rakowski: Brotherly Love. A blond beer made with barley spelt and rye, and fermented with the ‘Philly Sour’ yeast strain in stainless steel, then aged for a year in separate Pinot Noir barrels from Burgundy, one of which also still contained wine lees."

"Aoltbeer is the historic beer of Münster. The beers in this blend matured on average for 19 months in red wine barrels. In this time the beer developed its fruity and wine-like character. Blend no. 09-2021 is mature, jammy and with vineous stronefruit notes."

18 months BA Sour (lambic inspired) w. apple blossoms, elderflowers, gooseberries, red currant and meadowsweet.

"Silénos combines nobility and wild freshness. This robust stock ale has been aged in a Spanish red wine oak barrel for over a year with the help of wild yeasts. The interplay of these forces has fine-tuned the beer's distinctive notes of dried stone fruit, colourful sweet wood facets, barrel tannins and subtle hop bitterness into a heady interplay of aromas and flavours.Should you feel that it reminds you of something, it will certainly not be in vain to search your memory of enjoying a fine Spanish fortified wine."

"Hypsikerós is an exuberant and fresh stock ale that has been aged in an oak cask of Burgundy natural red wine for over a year with the help of wild yeasts. The result is a characterful 'barley wine' with a tight, warm, winding profile punctuated by distinct notes of dried stone fruit, wood and hop tannins and a subtle bitterness. The resemblance to wine here is rather indirect: Hypsikerós is partly similar in charater to Flanders red ales, which are known by local connoisseurs as the 'Burgundy of the North'."

"Ivy is a beer made with 100% regionally grown pale malted barley. In the kettle, it sees both three to four-year aged whole leaf hops, as well as pellet hops from the most recent harvest. Both are grown here in Oregon. It is the most simple of our recipes, yet one of the most complex in expression. One malt, one hop, our wonderful local water, and time. Ivy spends two years in neutral wine puncheons. We choose from these barrels a blend that is funky, but not too funky. Tart, but not too sour. Complex, but still hedonistic. Really, a blend that we are happy to make, to blend, and ultimately to share, in celebration of our new home."

The Dwarves are captured by the Elves and brought before the Elven-king, but Bilbo evades discovery by using the Ring. Season 2021-2022. Bottled on 28/062/2022. "For this Strenge Winter, we brewed a full malt wort with the addition of candied sugar on the coolship. This wort was brewed on April 16th 2020. We left it for more than two years to age on three different barrels. Upon bottling, we blended with some young lambik for continued bottle fermentation, as well as a small part of reduced wort from a Nocturne brew. The weighted average age of the blend upon bottling was therefore more than 23 months."

Season 2022-2023. Bottled on 21/03/2023. "The foundation and our essence: lambik as it should be; pure, spontaneous and complex. For six years, three consecutive brews from March 2017 fermented and matured in the same oak barrel. This fine lambik was bottled in a dark brown bottle and finished with the most excellent cork. For even longer cellar ageing."
