"Bourbon barrel-aged Times 8 collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal (US)
When we made the original Times 8, we thought we could kill craft with a beer that brought an over-the-top, 16% ABV imperial pasty stout together with a Willy Wonka assortment of vanilla, cocoa, maple syrup, butterscotch and coconut. But once again, we were mistaken – we forgot to age it in barrels. So to put the cherry on top of this ridiculous collab, we placed the beer in fresh bourbon barrels for a year to suck out all of the spicy, vanilla oaky notes and smooth, boozy finish. We’re sure you’re going to love this monster of a stout – just make sure you bring an insulin shot and a pint of Pilsner to wash it down. "

"We have prepared a blend of two Imperial Stouts from our Barrel Room. We combined an imperial stout aged for over 2 years (28 months) in Buffalo Trace pastry barrels with a double mash stout aged for almost a year (10 months) in Jim Beam and Wild Turkey barrels. Both of these beers are intense, strong and thick, in one of them we used a huge amount of malts and long cooking to obtain high extract, while in the other we used the "double mash" technique. Version with the addition of peanut butter, vanilla and chocolate aroma"

"This is a combination of two Imperial Stouts, carefully matured in our Barrel Room. We combined Imperial Stout, aged for over 2 years in Buffalo Trace Pastry barrels, with Double Mash Imperial Stout, which spent almost a year in a Jim Beam and Wild Turkey barrels. In this version you will find intense notes of dark dessert chocolate and coffee, obtained by infusing the beer with coffee beans (Salvador Apaneca variety) and cocoa beans (Sao Tome). Black dreams aged for 6 months on freshly emptied Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels.

"Strong coffee aroma, we choosed this specific coffee for its sourness. It gives some beautifull notes of raspberry, red berries, strawberries, hazelnuts, butter and citrus.
We aged this beer for 1 year on 2 Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels and 1 Whiskey Sauterne Barrel. After 10 months of aging we added 2kg fresh roasted coffee beans (By Crossroast in Antwerp) and 15 Vanillabeans in each barrel.
After 2 more months we blended the barrels together and added some more vanillabeans.
Result is a very complex coffee stout. Lots of barrel notes, a crisp sourness of the coffee that gives the beer a high drinkability."
