Boerenerf Terroir Mede Schaarbeekse Kriek

"Terroir was born from our passion for Schaarbeekse cherries.
Alongside our classic Terroir Kriek, a large harvest also allowed us to create Terroir Mead. We pressed fresh cherries into a fruit wine, which we elevated during fermentation with local honey. During maturation, we added Amburana wood to bring additional depth.
Our Schaarbeekse cherries shine in this mead. The cherries bring a delicate astringency, subtle spice, and intense aromas. The honey keeps the entire structure beautifully balanced in a delicious blend. Can be enjoyed both cold and warm. Pairs nicely with salty cheeses and desserts."
